AMPA (Parent Association)
The Gimbebé-Aulamar Parent Association, (AMPA, La Asociación de Madres y Padres) was founded in 1998 as a result of the initiative of a group of parents for the purpose of boosting the continuation of Gimbebé’s scholastic program as well as fostering the relationship and ties with our families and school. All families who have children enrolled in Gimbebé are members of the association.
Activities organized by the AMPA Parent Association are grouped into four parts:
- Extracurricular activities for all students; Organization of shows; Celebration of feast days that are part of our customs and traditions: Carnival; San Jordi; Family Day…
- Parent School, with periodic talks for parental training.
- Food and quality hygiene inspections of our dining services.
- Collaboration with non-profit entities and organizations with the similar goals: Christmas toy drives and food drives.
